This model demonstrates the collision between a C60 molecule and a xeon atom. You can rotate the C60 molecule to change the collision point or change the velocity vector of the incident atom, and then observe the collision from different angle at different distance. Unlike the collision between a pair of xeon atoms, the C60 molecule can reflect the xeon atom in different directions and cause itself to rotate in different orientations, depending on the face of collision. |
