Charging your hair

Human body is a conductor. When you touch a charged Van der Graaff generator, some charges will flow into your body. A portion of them will end up in your hair. Since hair is light enough, some strands will rise upward and outward, which is the result of Coulomb repulsion among them. This simulation shows this phenomenon.
